Q: Is the price of the villa per person or per villa?


All of our villa prices are for the villa, not per person. Your villa specialist will be able to tell you of any additional costs for extra beds and guests per villa limitations.



Q: Is there a minimum night stay?


Yes, it depends on the villa and the season but these are often flexible. Minimum nights stay range between 2 and 7 days. As a general rule, High and Peak Season periods usually have the longest minimum stays. Your villa specialists will be able to give you more details on which villas offer what minimum stay policy and when.

Q: Does my villa have a private swimming pool?


Yes. All of the villas listed in this website have their own private swimming pools. In fact, some of them have two private pools and Jacuzzis!

Q: Who do we contact if we need anything when we are in our villa?


This depends on the villa. Some have a villa manager and butler staff who are available to answer any questions and to help with any problems. And you can always contact us at Exotiq Villa Holidays should you need assistance. For questions of a more general nature, Exotiq Villa Holiday's Guest relations officer is available as well.

Q: Are there any restrictions with children?


That depends on the unique villa owner and the villa's child friendliness. If the villa has an unprotected pool for example, or is filled with breakables, then there will be restrictions. Some owners may place age restrictions or ask for liability waivers. However, most of our properties are child friendly. Children are made to feel very welcome and some villas will provide baby cots, games and toys to keep the little ones entertained. Some villas are better suited than others and your villa specialist will be able to provide any information you require regarding children in the villa of your choice or you may refer to the appropriate villa page for exact information and look for "child friendly" in "features".

Q: Are the villas private?


Yes. Our properties are all private and many of them are in secluded locations. Some villas in an estate community may have neighbours but they are private units for you and your guests only. Security staff are present 24 hours a day at most of the villas.


Q: How can I reserve a villa?


Simple! Choose the villa you would like to stay in. Choose the dates of your stay and then let us have your payment details. If you make a deposit payment straight away then your reservation will be confirmed immediately. If you would like to pay later, your reservation will be held for 5 days, and one of our villa specialists will contact you to make payment arrangements. If your payment is not received within 5 days of making your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.

Q: How much deposit do I need to make?


For most of the destinations the following standard policy applies: A 50% deposit is required within 5 days (during low season) and 2 days (during high and peak seasons) to hold a reservation. Reservations are not considered confirmed until the deposit and rental agreement form are received. A confirmation letter is sent to you upon receipt of the deposit. The balance of your payment is due 45 days prior to your arrival date (60 days for Christmas/New Year bookings). If the booking is made less than 45 days prior to arrival (or 60 days for Christmas/New Year bookings); full payment is required within 5 working days. For last minute bookings (within 7 days or less prior to arrival), full payment is due immediately after confirmation of reservation has been given. Also, please be sure to check on deposit and cancellation policies for your specific villa as payment and cancellation terms may vary.  Please check at point of booking.

Q: Can I cancel my booking after I make a reservation?


Yes, you can. However, we need notice of any cancellation in writing. For most of the destinations the following standard policy applies: Any deposits will be refunded in full, less 20% of the total booking values (whichever is greater) if the reservation is cancelled 61 days or more prior to arrival (91 days for high and peak seasons). Please note if multiple villas are booked, a cancellation fee will be applied for each villa. Final payments are non-refundable.

This policy may vary depending on the villa, based on villa owner/resort agreements. Please check at point of booking.



Q: What do I do if I want to change my villa or reservation?


The best thing to do is to let your villa specialist know of any changes as soon as you can. It may not always be possible to change villas or dates depending on availability so the sooner you can let us know the better.

Q: Will my villa have internet access?


Almost all of our villas have internet access; connection speed, costs and equipment available varies. Please ask your villa specialist for specific details on the villa of your choice.

Q: Is breakfast included in the price?


Breakfast inclusive terms vary from villa to villa; most properties do offer breakfast in the price.  Your villa specialist will be able to let you know of any specific issues with breakfast in your villa.

Q: Is transport included in the price?


Generally no. However certain villas have cars and drivers available for you, some at additional costs. Your villa specialist will be able to let you know more details depending on which villa you choose to stay in. Airport transfers are usually included in the price.

Q: Does my villa come with a cook?


Most of our villas have cooks and several have professional Executive Chefs who are able to prepare food to your specific requests. Some are self-catering. However, if you prefer to cook for yourself there are a selection of very good quality grocers and delicatessens which specialize in gourmet products. Your villa specialist will provide you with details on request. If you would like your pantry stocked before you arrive please let us know what items you would like us to purchase for you. Costs for this will be added to your bill.

Q: Are there any extra expenses or costs?


Usually food costs are extra as well as transportation, any out of villa activities such as tours or adventure activities, taxes and gratuities (tips to villa staff). Our Guest Service staff will advise you about appropriate tipping levels.

Q: Is there any night life close to my villa?


Of course, that will depend on which destination you choose and where your villa is located. We only select villas which are located in quiet environments however, getting to and from the action is very easy in most cases, so you could choose a villa that offers the best of both worlds; privacy as well as easy access to the destination’s hottest night spots. Ask your villa specialist for advice on any preferences you may have.

Q: Can I use my villa for a special occasion like a wedding?


Yes. Some of our villas are ideal wedding venues and we have very good relationships with party, wedding planners and catering companies. Advance notice is always required if you are planning an event, so ask your villa specialist if you have any special requests.
